One agent for every machine.
What it is
Proxis is a small, fast agent you install on any machine: a server, a sensor gateway, a laptop, a legacy box.
It watches, schedules, records and acts. It works with files, logs, metrics, webhooks, scripts and any time series from any source: MQTT, HTTP, files, databases.
It serves what it holds through a standard API and a local dashboard. The dashboard is identical to the cloud one.
Who decides
Four roles, kept apart.
Sentinel
Bounded rules that act at machine speed and report.
Actuator
The things it can do.
Oracle
The AI that evaluates and recommends, never commands. Cloud or local.
Command
You, at the dashboard, authorizing what each may do. Every action has a tier and an audit trail. The limits are structural, not behavioural.
The Command-Oracle-Sentinel-Actuator architecture from Humanity’s Starshot.
Built for
Efficiency
One static Rust binary. Linux x86 and ARM, macOS, Windows.
Speed
An in-memory series store, Parquet on disk. The PostgreSQL wire protocol, so Power BI, Excel, R, MATLAB and Python connect with no driver.
Honesty
Observations are never altered. Quality is a flag. Synthetic points are labelled.
Status
In development. First release 2027.
